  Hope you won't be too disappointed to hear that my garden, like a
typical zen garden, doesn't have any flowers, ha ha. But we're having a nice
summer in Ohio -- not too hot and plenty of rain -- so everything is growing
well enough. l have all kinds of trees, moss, sedum, bamboo, shrubs and a few
grasses l make limited use of ( as well as boulders and rocks, raked gravel
and water, to give you an idea).
l had an epidemic of chigger
bites last week and simply couldn't figure out where they were coming from,
as l don't have much grass and my area is pretty sparsely planted -- drove
me nuts cause l didn't know what to do toavoid it -- but fortunately the
problem seems to have eased off for now. Thanx for asking.
