Subject: [K-list] a pointless point

hi Lynda,
i have been giving some thought to your sig line:
> From: Lynda <pythonissaATnospammadasafish.com>
> "A circle is the longest distance to the same point." - Tom Stoppard.
please don't take this as a criticism of a quote that is meaningful to
you... every time i see this quote, it starts me thinking/visualizing... so
i thank you... this is what it brings to mind for me:
a larger circle would be an even longer distance to the same point... and
the circumference of an infinitely large circle might perhaps meet itself on
on its journey across Infinity... i think that this would turn the circle
into a point (perhaps the Ultimate Point?)...
anyway, perhaps this is a pointless point... but it's been running circles
through my mind, so i finally had to point this out...
( i think i've been hanging out too long with my good buddy, Louie
Yahseyes... *wink* )
warmly,
percyval
