Why should we not assume that we are dealing with a case of projection of
the n+1 dimensional object onto the n dimensional plane? An example: a
pyramid, a 3d body, casts a shadow upon a 2d plane. When a pyramid rotates,
a shadow changes from a rectangle to a triangle etc. Likewise, we perceive
certain actions on the physical plane and we make assumptions regarding
their meaning, while the truth is in fact something that is a whole
dimension above our assumptions - neither a triangle nor a rectangle, but a
pyramid. Neither 1, 2 nor 3, but something completely different.
