Please don't get mad & leave. If you hang out here long enough you will find
that it's a playground & eventually everyone takes their turn in the barrel
of criticism. Maybe it's the moon phases, or maybe it's just an excuse for
some of the mean-ness to escape from the collective pressure cooker of
diversity that is here.
I've been very sick, I'm getting old, & I will eventually die. Be assured
that I have always believed in having insurance appropriate to my situation.
The opinions stated in this thread are only that. I do not believe
spirituality is dependent in any way on whether or not one trusts higher
power or the universe or my neighbor for needs normally covered by
insurance.
IN MY CASE, I choose to want various insurances & if that means I'm weak &
fearful & unspiritual...so be it. I'm sure my higher power will be patient
enough to permit me to bumble along & make mistakes, & I expect the list
will do the same!!! Bottom line: I'm worth more dead than alive, & for
everyone out there who doesn't believe in insurance...if I run over your
car, you get yours fixed & I get out the bike! :) as always, a good day to
