Hi Jerry,
I do have experiences of what you are talking about...the aching in
my
hands with no discernable source. After all the allopathic reasons
were ruled out I didnt know what to do.
During a chiropractic adjustment the pain went away. The pain in my
hands was really in my back but was referred along the nerve pathways
to be experienced in my hand. This actually is a well documented
phenomenon.
Seeing that the pain comes when you hold your hands up about heart
level I would think it would be one of your high thoracic or low
cervical vertebrae. It might be worth it to check it out.
Something else to consider also along this line. When we don't drink
enough water and the body becomes dehydrated, the discs that cushion
between the vertebra shrink and don't do their job as well. This too
can cause pain.
Also it seems the pain does get better when you are active and more
painful when you are not. Activity does help lubricate the joints.
Hope this helps.
Blessings,
Susan
