hmmmm..... Karen i cannot feel it that way. Unfulfilled needs is one form of pain, but because this ego pains are quite "loud" it might feel like being without them there is no pain any longer...... to me it feels when the pain and the demands and the yelling of personal needs become smaller i start being able to feel other pains. First and most urgently the pain of being separated from the Divine....... in my experience a MUCH more intense pain than a " need" pain ever could be. Then there are all the pains somebody else around you feels, nature feels, earth feels. As long as your own needs are yelling in your ears these pains are more or less in the background....... after the need pain and demands are gone( or leaving) the pain, lets call them collective pains are getting huuuuge sometimes and you know you will only be REALLY out of pain when every being in the univers is out of pain.
