Dear list,

The following is an occult experiment that you might find of interest. It
uses mantras that I am sure most, if not all, of you are familiar with. It
is used to check ones level of inner development in some alchemical circles.
The goal is to produce a transmutation of some kind. Here, it is in the form
of a vapor or perfume.

The nature of the perfume picked is done according to the day you perform it.
If it is Sunday, you use a Solar perfume, such as frankicense or cinnamon.
Saturday, myrh is good. Etc. This is done according to classical astrology
where each day of the week has a planetary ruler. I suspect that since the
moon is closest to our earth, Monday offers the best day for success.

Face east during the day (sun above the horizon), and north during the night
(sun below the horizon).

Know the location of the centers in the body, working your way down, from the
Crown to the base of the spine.

Aum - Crown
Ham - Throat
Yam - Heart
Ram - Solar Plexus
Vam - abdomen
Lam - Perinium.

Chant them from the top down, after having picked the odor of choice, and
imagining that it is forming as a vapor in the room. If you chant the
mantras more than once, be sure to repeat them the same number of times in
reverse order, with the intention of dematerializing the scent. Hint, each
planet is ruled by a number, that might be of assistance for the number of
repetitions.

Moon - Monday -9
Mars -Tuesday -5
Mercury - Wedenesday -8
Jupiter- Thursday -4
Venus - Friday -7
Saturn - Saturday - 3
Sun -Sunday - 6
