Subject: [K-list] snakes again and dreams

Hi everybody
especially during the years before my awakening i had many many snake
dreams. The strange thing was: consciously i LOVE snakes, always did, a
snake was my first pet and whenever i met a snake later i was happy
happy happy to see her. they always were very close to me. In my dreams
though i was terrified of them. They threatened me, they scared me, i
wanted to escape, get rid of them. Especially one dream was very
intense. I had a dark and a white girl with me and went for a walk with
them. The girls were playing in the water of a lake when i saw a huge
snake coming closer. I called the girls and was fleeing home with them.
We met several pairs of archetypal animals that i had to fight and
finally being at home and closing the door i felt safe. Suddenly the
door opened, the snake came in and killed the dark girl and it
disappeared as did the snake. With this i woke up. I couldn't accept the
end of the dream and wanted to find out more about it, so i went into
trance and went looking for the dark girl. I ended up in the flat and
the girl was sitting at the table doing something. I told her i was glad
to see her, because it looked to me as if she was killed by the snake.
She said, she never was dead it only appeared to me like that. The dark
girl was very sad and told me, the whole problem was that i don't
believe in snakes.
I had no clue what this message of the dark girl meant but i decided to
try to open up to whatever i don't believe in.
If you have questions regarding dreams it quite often you can reconnect
to the dream and find out directly what it is about by asking questions
in the dream scenario. It often works quite well.
Regarding your question, Susan, i feel you answered it already yourself
by writing your mail about it. Snakes are symbols of Kundalini energy as
we know, very much alive, vibrant , evolving, transforming energy.
The other animals you yourself described as ancient, very old and
obviously quite closed up in thick shells. It feels to me is if your
kundalini energy is going into old patterns of yours ( sexual?, you
mentioned you saw these animals mate in Florida) or on the unpersonal
level old archetypal patterns in the unconsciousness of the all of us
and transforming what is in there.
Looking at the group dynamics on this list during the last days it feels
to me it could also symbolize your role as the kundalini "snake" in your
discussion with the person calling herself Brigid. Did you notice by the
way that the word "'rigid" is in this name? and the energy felt very
much like the ancient, closed up animals that need to be transformed by
the energy of the snake........;-)
perhaps i'm over interpreting here.....LOLOL
My own dream of last night was not that pleasant. I dreamed i had a dove
as a pet....a wonderful fragile and bright animal. She lived with us ,
but wasn't locked into a cage. She normally sat on my shoulder or was
close by. Then we had to travel into the world. It seemed to me the
places we were going to were more rude and foreign. Suddenly the dove
disappeared and i saw two pigeons chasing her. I was worried , but
thought, it's her own species, they wouldn't harm her , but when she
came back i saw blood in her feathers and started cleaning her and
putting remedies on her wounds. The wounds were small and i was relieved
first and it looked to me that she was sort of okay when suddenly i
looked into her face and saw, they had picked out both of her eyes.
I was so shocked , i still cried when i woke up.
So what do we do about that dream?
i guess i'll take my own advice, to back into the dream and try to find
out what happened and why
