I once had a very significant dream where I was wearing loafers. I needed to
run away from a childhood circumstance & realized that I could not outrun
the danger wearing this type of shoe. The insight was that I was improperly
shod for the journey. I translated this to mean that I should make sure to
provide my own children with all the information I could provide when they
needed to face the dysfunctional visits to both my & my ex's families of
origin. This dream was painful to interpret, but gave me much courage which
has served us well. As young adults, my children are the most "normal" of
all their cousins.
I'm guessing that your wardrobe may symbolize the totality of your 'level of
preparation' (for lack of better terminology), to deal with some situation
(mine was concerning my childhood). could be leading you to diversify your
learning in some way (all are shoes, rather than a mixture of items). I'm
only guessing. the shoes caught my attention because they were important to
my own understanding.
Regard any suggestions you receive from any of us--as just that. It is your
dream to interpret as needed to fit your experience. And, be confident that
if it is a significant dream, you WILL figure it out & the understanding
will give you peace--even if the event represented was initially alarming.
