As a Vertebrae this is very>very interesting. Some children who
have
cerebral palsy do not know how to>walk. Even if they are shown they
can not do it. The only way they can learn is to placed on horses
back. The walking movement of the horse creates a >circuit with the
child body, then the spine, then the brain, then the consciousness of
the child's mind and then the subconscious's.
MAS:
Well, for me, this is resonant with what members have told you about
speaking in the language of energy and not finding resonance with
intellectual word-based teaching or explanations.

It seems when people can't be precise in their terms we refer to
talking in terms of energy, precisely because the anatomy and
physiology of the energy is only just beginning to be studied in the
Western World whereas the Eastern was studying for thousands of years.
(Remember my reference to a European physician making nadis glow
radioactively for scanning. Resistance to electrical flow can also be
measured at acupuncture point.)

This is a device that has been used on and by myself (it's wonderful)
to relieve pain and dysfunction in the body's electrical pathways. I
use it by finding which meridians are blocked, low flow,
dysfunctional
and then treat that specific meridian. It's approved primarily for
vets in the care of animals and isnt really in use big time for
people
except maybe for professional sports teams. They are quite popular
for
treating horses who race.
One of these days I am going to buy one for my own personal use. They
do resell 2nd hand machines that have been returned and repaired.
They
are expensive!
Speaking as someone who is familiar with working with meridians,
nadis, and chakra centers that seem to be found interfacing with
nerve
plexi in the body I am well aware of the nexus where psychological
(sounds like what you call the etheric) and physiological interface.
Regarding kids with CP it is also possible to teach them to walk by
using something called cross crawling, popularized by Dr. Dennison,
as
a form of kinesthiology. The motion of the walking, or the crawling
creates new neural pathways for brain signals, what we call circuits.
BTW...the study of acupuncture and energy centers came about by
observation. It was taboo to cut into an ancestor's dead body whereas
we don't have that taboo in the West. Over thousands of years of
learning the subtle language of the subtle energy body caused quite a
sophisticated sytem to arise. Western medicine is not much over a 100
years old.
Blessings,
Susan
