When you where a little little baby you had no ego. You where perfect in all
aspects of what God wanted you to be. You where a perfect entity
in which you and God could experience what God created.
The problem is that the world you where brought up in is a world that has
undergone a bit of slant. Before the slant, religion was the food of the
people. One day the people suddenly found out that they did not know the
mind of God. This was because the mind of God was taught to them by others
who thought they knew the mind of God. This is the tree of knowledge. This
is the biblical 'fall' in the garden of Eden. Then the teachers died and
what was left where people who did not know the mind of God. Some people
pretended to know the mind of God and started up small cults. Some of these
people in these cults rebelled because they saw that the preachers did not
practice what they preached. This came to a head when a guy called Martin
Luther nailed a piece of paper to a church door. Then the people took it
upon themselves to find out who God was and they began to study the holy
books for themselves. The holy books where problematic because there was no
printing press and the holy books
where just copies, of copies, of copies X 100,000 +. Most of the people who
did the copying wrote in their views. Thus the word of God was lost. People
began to look for God under rocks and stones and could not find him there.
They decided to record what they could find in books. People compared notes
and where they had been and what they had seen. Some people noticed that
some of the notes contained information that could be used by the people to
improve their lives. More notes where compared and things where ruled in and
things where ruled out - Thus science was born of 'the quest to find God.'
Science lost it's way and decided to become the quest for science. This
happened with Darwin's theory of evolution which is what we are stuck with
today to replace God. Darwin was a critic of himself but no-one could
counter his views as philosophy was dead at the time. It is only now that we
can look at Darwin and see the problems with his work. Some things he wrote
where undefined.
You and I are in a part of the world where we are shown things. We say we
like this and we don't like that. It is important to discriminate, but one
can not discriminate until one has removed the plank from one's own eye. One
needs to get clean.
Not all of us have an ego. This is important to remember. Some Eastern
nations have no ego. Ego is not a natural process. If you are a child
untamperd by such promotions of *sin* you will not develop it. Most of
Vietnamese did not develop it before the Vietnam war.
Most of them were ego-less. They fought back the American with every breath
they could muster. They won the war because they where not afraid. Only one
American survived hand to hand combat with a Vietnamese soldier during the
war. Vietnam vets will tell you how they where told that if they where
within six feet of a Vietnamese soldier they should lay down their weapons
and surrender. The DOD could not understand how these little people where
doing so much damage with so little training, *food* and weapons. The DOD
went as far as classifying the bow and arrow as an absolutely deadly weapon.
Fear is what prevented the American soldier from winning the war.
What is also important to remember is that having no ego does not mean that
you do not know what ego is or how to get in touch with ego. The problem is
that as a nation/race/people/person we have spent so much time in egoland
that large portions of this planets populous do not know how to pull back
out from it. Once you learn to collapse all, there is absolutely no problem
with expanding again. If you kill ego you have triumphed over it. That is
all. You can go back to ego and still REMEMBER how to kill it again, very
quickly. You can do this as easy a breathing. We have spiraled out as far as
we can go and do not remember how to spiral back again. Imagine you are a
slinky extended. This is the - I, this - phenomenon. Collapse the slinky and
it is then one. The slinky is always one. It has always been one. It just
thinks that it is not.
The key to understanding why this is so is in the chakras.
Forgive me if I say this again, I know from experience that many here will
not like it, but the chakras are psychological. This is just a statement as
to what my knowledge admits to the matter. They can not be taken as
physiological standpoints in the body. This is a misrepresentation of the
case. Physiology does not know the chakras, at all, in any shape or form, as
they exist, in themselves as the centers of consciousness, although it does
deal with the body related to them because of Pranayama. If one appeals to
them as being physiological in nature (if you damage one, you would know
about it.) then you will not get to know them as they are. If you can
discover what they are and clean them and unlock them, the understanding of
what I have written above will be clear to you.
