All of the recent posts are tying in to my personal
experiences lately.
It starts with the surrender stuff. I've been working
really, really hard to exert my will to surrender.
(Thats only half joking...)
And I've been really, really frustrated. And agitated.
And unhappy. And clueless.
So 2 days ago, driving home from work, I just put it
out there, to the universe, or Goddess, or source, or
whatever, to "HELP!", and took the rest of the night
off to experience one of my favorite escapist
past-times-- Movies.
I am still in awe.
The movie concisely addressed all the Power/Surrender
issues I've been trying to deal with for months! I
haven't been surrendering at all, I've just been going
through the motions hoping everything would get
better now that I demonstrated my willingness to "go
with the flow!"
I realized while watching the movie that for me to
really surrender, I have to go one step further. I
need to embrace my situation and pain and discomfort
and anger. My evil side, too. For more than just a
day...
"Gee, I think I've heard this somewhere else,
too,--and why is there this dent in my head the size
of a 2 by 4?"
