Dear k-ites,

I recently also had a weird experience with a book. I was at a used Librbary
book sale...literally hundreds of old paper-backs. I was wading
through...and after selecting a book for my husband and a few for my kids,
one called "The Miracle" by Irving Wallace caught my eye.
The only reason I picked it up was becuase I thought the back said it was
about a mystery surrounding St Bridgid...who is an ancient Celtic goddess
that the church re-vamped into a saint....and I've always been interested in
her true nature. Anyhoo....I had MISREAD the back it was about St.
Bernadette and if I had read that I probably wouldn't have bought the book.
Anyway the book is a fiction based around the three secrets revealed to St.
Bernadette..that little girl who suppsedly saw the virgin in Lourdes. The
book is about the "third secret" and how it contained info the topple the
church....this is the fictional book version.
Then I saw on the news the NEXT DAY....many of you saw it also I'm
sure....how the church finally "revealed" the secret....that the prediction
was an attempt on the Pope's life...that this came to pass....that it is now
the whatever anniversay of the vision...and showed the pope visiting
Bernadette and how he could now say ..."this should dispel the questions of
any doubters of the true faith...."
Gotta read that book now!
