as with everything it depends on the level from where you look at it. On the
dualistic plane, you are right, there is an opposite to everything and
consequently there is evil manifested in different shapes like there is good
manifested in different shapes. Beyond the dualistic level there is no evil.
It has nothing to do with popular or unpopular, just with spiritual knowledge
and the level somebody identifies with. There are different opinions though
how to deal with this knowledge. There are the ones who say: the dualistic
level exists and we are living in it and therefore things like devils or
ghosts are part of our " reality" and have to be dealt with as such and there
are the others that say: duality is an illusion and you just create the "
evil" forms you are dealing with later and fighting against by concentrating
on this level. i personally tend to follow the second possibility, but, yes,
because there are alot of people insisting on evil and devil and whatever
else they are hanging around. I for one believe in taking them seriously and
fighting them you are feeding the concept of duality and in the end
strengthen them. therefore i stay out of this game and i have a hard time
listening to all this, because i can feel the manifestation of this energy
and i don´t like to be around it.
