If I put it this way:

The second coming of Christ is a personal experience, in THIS moment for THIS human being, mediated through the holy spirit, and realized in the divine/human, a human being innately susceptible to a renewed reality of love, light and truth.
So the second coming is NOT something that we as humanity as a whole are waiting for, expecting a Jesus kind of person, at the end of time...
Jesus intended the Holy Spirit to be our helper, to aid us in liberating ourselves, recognizing our human/divine heritage and inheritance. Thus actualizing our consciousness as Christ's Consciousness and our body as His Body.

That sounds about right, don't you think?
