I don't see why we feel the need to argue with each other over certain things
discussed on this list. I mean what makes us human is our sense of reasoning
and thinking, and the different conclusions that each of us come to. I may
be right, someone else may also be right but different. I can be completely
off base and not realize it til I am in a discussion such as the ones we get
into here. I would never degrade someone else's belief system because I know
that those decisions are made from individual expereinces, it is a work of
THEIR reasoning. I simply listen and question everything and welcome the
questioning of my beliefs. if I say something offensive I can guarantee it
wasn't on purpose, but how can we learn about ourselves and each other and
learn to live together peacefully without discusses the things that make us
different and yet still the same. Disagreements shouldn't be pushed under
the rug (or in this case the monitor hehe) but everyone involved, and I'm
assuming most of us are adults or at least act like them on occasion, needs
to realize that each of us is different and sees things from varying
perspectives and just because it isn't your belief that doesn't mean it's the
wrong belief.
