I'll check on that however before B12 was isolated it was called APF (animal
product factor) because nutritionists figured out that in animal diets (those
given to livestock and mice and such in particular) showed deficiencies when
not given animal tissue. Sine then it has only been found in animal tissues.
I'll ask the nutrition professor here just to be on the safe side for you.
I am under the assumption though that ingesting any form of cyanide would be
deadly. Companies distribute large quantities of almonds so I wouldnt think
that they would carry any form of cyanide in them, I mean would they wanna
kill their consumers. Cyan is also the word for blue. Cobalamin is blue,
hense cobalt color got its name from there.
