Subject: [K-list] White Man and Banana - was Objective Illisions

I thought about the objective/subjective issue more and agree jerry's reality
point. There was one objective truth it seems and that was there was a white
man with a banana. Applying the laws of mental masturbation to this, of
course, I started wondering, well what do we all accept as the reality called
a white man and just what is a banana. The definitions are all basically
that they are the same molecules held together at the most basic point in
some magnetic pattern we all agree to call a white man and a banana.

Sounds silly but I have been noticing lately how when I look at things and
see them as close to what they really are, it is usually when I have
dismantled the abstract identification down to the bare bones. Do I see a
house or do I see trees made into grotesque manipulations and humans sitting
in them? Do I see a car or do I see metal with rubber wheels and an internal
combustion system? Do I see a telephone or do I see a bunch of wires with a
transmitter and receiver and this contraption of things allows me hear a
voice on it? Maybe this what Dan meant by gravitational recusiveness,
sympathy works well when it holds a pattern of a thing? Does one and one
equal two, or is the two an abstraction that really doesn't exist and the
reality is that one and one really equals one and one. A base one universe.

So my reality is more down to an elemental level which tends to overtake me
with factoid overload. Maybe that is why we abstract.

This round of thinking has me to believe that there is an objective sort of,
it is based on the smallest things that make up something that has a shape,
and that in the objective, there are subjectives and vice versa. The
telephone above would not work if it wasn't hooked up just the one way it can
be hooked up in this reality or else there would be no voice. Or maybe that
is an illision too? I am still working on it.
