Yes, I could tell it was enthusiasm and inexperience rather than any
attempt to offend. Forgiven, of course. I am posting this to the list,
because we seem to have a lot of newbies.
Nettiquite=ettiquite for the internet. A mailing list is a community like
any other, a culture, and so there are certain manners that apply to that
culture, and it is useful to know.. When in Rome..:) I was confused by
someone telling me I was shouting, when I first came online, too. I use
*stars* around a word when I want to emphasise it.

You might want to visit the K-list website address below, and read the
"K-list FAQ..
Depending on what email program you use, usually those > marks at the
margin, define one writer from another., and are put in automaticly by the
program when you hit reply. Reply sends to the author, set up like that to
encourage people to thank authors, off list for posts they enjoy. "Reply to
all" sends it to the author and the list.. be kind and delete the author
addresses when posting to the list, so they don't get too many copies.
Forwarding private posts to the list is also considered bad nettiquite,
indiscreet, but I don't mind about this one.
