Dear Kim,
I think that most of us have gone thru the same worries....I know that I
have. My K activation was over nine years ago. I went thru all the
horrors, mental, emotional, and physical while raising my son...all by
myself. I am not saying it was easy on him but he is now a kind,
insightful, caring 12 year old.
I often wanted the same quite, almost hermit life that you want but I never
could make it happen (good thing), all I ended up doing was making my life
as simple as possible so that I would have time for meditations or whatever.
I cut down on my friends and refused alot of invitations to going out. Now,
even though, I am back with my sons father, I still lead a very quite life
and I find it suits me much better.
I do live in constant pain (as I mentioned before on the list)and function
on pain pills but I no longer have the mental and emotional aberrations
beyond detachment. I found out that I can feel detached from my husband and
child but still love and care for them and they never know the difference.
I dont' try to make myself feel the love that I used to...it is not
necessary as I do the love everyday. That is beyond just feeling love, it
is being love.
I hope that I helped you out and know, Kim, that you would not have your
chiildren if you werent meant to care for them. Much love, Julie
