Hi all,
I have been reading lately about getting degrees and other things that
require going to school and functioning in a society capacity. I have
awakened my Kundalini recently and I believe it is mild so far. But, one of
my main concerns since this has started is being able to continue taking care
of my children. I mean in a physical sense as well as emotionally and
financially or materially. When it first began I had wanted to give my
children to someone else to take care of and pursue a life in an ashram or
such. My children are 11, 10 and 6 mths, and I feel that would be very sad
for all of them. Anyway, thankfully I have given up that notion (for the time
being) and have continued raising them. But, I feel things changing in me,
and am not sure what is in store for me. I definitely find that city life is
not suiting me lately, and feel drawn to secluded spaces. Somewhere
definitely closer to nature and Mother Earth. I do find that when I am
playing with my 6 mth old son I feel more grounded, which has helped me a
lot. Anyway, I was wondering if anyone on the list has concerns like this, or
has faced a situation similar, and how you were able to work through it. In
ending, I don't believe the K wants me to give up my life for a life of
simple meditation. I have read that the most spiritual thing that a person
can do is provide a loving and secure home for their children. I also feel
the K is taking it easy with me so that I can continue to take care of the
children that I brought in this world. Oh, Lol, one more thing. Does anyone
have any ideas how K affects a child growing in a woman's body with activated
Kundalini? I sometimes wonder if I can pass this on to my children. Not that
it would be a bad thing, by no means. I just wonder. Thanks for this
wonderful list and the special people on it. I feel honored to be able to be
a part of it.
