Aint life a kick?
I have my degrees, and my licences... but... they dont do me much good,
for the same reasons. And whats more, I lost interest in those things
that used to drive me. I have changed, and these are useless to me
nowdays... I was a whirlwind, then, I was driven from my gut to success,
that same gut today has no competitive urges, no need for the bankroll,
I hardly recognize the person who accomplished so much... And cannot
imagine myself persuing them again.
I took the documents off my walls because at one point it did disturb me
looking at them, I used to be resentful I suppose, for all the work and
hardships. I am not so resentful these days, but the docs will stay in
the boxes, they feel like they belong to someone else.
