Dear Hillary, Amanda, Tony, Harsha and everybody,
I don't know how effective amulets are either, but a friend of mine has a
Shiva Lingam which materialized in her home. She said she'd bring it to
show me, and not knowing much about them, I vaguely expected it to be
phallic shaped, (well you would if you didn't know much about them wouldn't
you?)
I was surprised to see it was egg-shaped. It's very strange. when I first
saw it I thought perhaps it was made of jade because it was a paleish green
colour, but she said watch, it changes colour. It did, it changed gradually
to a fawn colour, then gradually back again to green with one or two brown
lines across it. She said hold it, it feels different to different people.
I held it on my palm. It felt warm and weighted at the rounded end. I
looked to see if there was a join anywhere on it where a weight could have
been inserted, but I couldn't see one. She gave it to another person to
hold, and this person nearly dropped it, she thought it was alive she could
feel a pulse! I held it again to see if it felt different to me, but to me
it just felt weighted, no pulse. My friend was quite blase about our
reactions because she said everybody has different experiences and
sensations when they hold it. She treats it as a holy object, keeps it
wrapped in silk, and only shows it to like-minded souls.
When my grandfather was in India when he was a very young man, he met a holy
man (his words). This holy man told him everything which would happen in
his life (which my grandfather said came totally true)
He also gave him a moonstone ring for protection, and silks for his
first-born child who he said would be a little blonde girl. This child was
my mother. (I told Hillary I would tell the story of my grandfather and the
holy man on the list, so here's the opportunity)
