I too believe there is a connection in
susceptible individuals b/n K and mania
/ manic depression illness.
But it is very difficult to say what is the
cause for what; does bipolar disease cause
K or vice versa ?
I'm not going to make any guesses either way,
merely mention that
my personal experience is that the energy
fluctuations can cause hyperactivity and
states akin to mania,
as well as depression, a feeling of being
drained, a reduced
amount of certain important mood neurotransmitters
such as serotonin, which is involved in regulating
things such as sex drive, anxiety and "highs".
One must assume these different states are parts
of the process of K.
I cannot say I have experienced problems due
to K hitting "the wrong channel", but I
am in no way excluding the possibility.
My experiences with mania were from the time
when K hit certain blocks in the mind-body.
Lows often happen when the salt balance in the
body is off, could be caused by poor kidney
function or something like that.
Also, one must not forget that all kinds
of emotions, as well as thoughts, is a mani-
festation of K. Emotions are energy and so
energy can cause mania. In this respect mania
or depression may well be more of a
sign of energy imbalance than a direct cause
for disease.
