Hi !

The Ankh originates from ancient Egypt and
was a symbol of both the eternal life of the
soul in the hereafter, but also of life as it
turns and cycles in the natural world.

Incidentally, it is also the sign science
uses for "female" and also the ancient
sign for Venus.

The same sign was also used in a pop culture
representation of Death, in the comic book
series The Sandman.

Which can be interpreted as
to live eternally one must take in Death,
quite a paradox, eh ? :)
