Hi Hillary,
There is an interesting point in your post that I have often thought about.
(maybe you can make a poll out of it!)--

I am a painter, and I teach painting and drawing, so I am very visual. But
I don't have any of the visual kundalini experiences I often hear of on the
list--no auras, no visions. My "visions" in meditation are of light and
color, but abstract--no realistic visual phenomena. I wondered if maybe
being visual doesn't have the opposite effect--less likely to experience
visions because of an engaged or overengaged visual response to the
physical world. I would like to hear from others on the list about their
experience--does it relate to your primary sense orientation?
