I have been asking questions without giving more info.about myself. Thought
it might help to know where I am coming from.;]
I had considered myself Wiccan for the past 15 years, until May of last
year...we had been going thru alot of family crisis and along with that I
began my own personal spiritual crisis. I had come to the conclusion that
the Wiccan religion was just another form of dogma and that it was becoming
just like the Christian religion I had walked away from.
I decided that the Wiccan rede was a set of rules that no longer applied to
my life and I claimed myself as a 'Witch', answering only to my Goddess and
to my self. Well, as I have always said, when you make these kind of claims
to power the Goddess comes along and says 'prove it'...and she did. My life
was turned upside down, I had a major spiritual breakdown, then a major car
accident, I believed in nothing any more...not even in my gods! Now I am
having this Kundalini awakening and I'm still searching for what I believe.
The Void is a very dark and lonely place from where I sit! So I look to
things like flower essences, oils, etc. so that I feel like I am involved in
the process, that I am doing something that matters...even though I don't
know if I even believe...
On a lighter note, I have a great marriage, a wonderful son. I have a
saddle mule that I ride every weekend. We live at the beach which is
totally cool. And I love tattoos, I'm currently up to 7 last time I counted
and I'm planning where my next one will go!
