I know where you are coming from... and had thought about it.
But I did get different impressions from my visions... there was something
popish in there, I do not think Jesus thought he was (just) a prophet.
Now the idea of pope was corroborated when I read this book (Jesus and the
Dead Sea scrolls) by oh, what 's her name... a lady from Australia...she
writes about the pesher idea...No, forgot her name and cannot find her book
at the moment.
Maybe Christopher Wynter knows her book, he may know also (Christopher, do
you?) about the earliest meaning of the word 'pope' in Jewry.
I really do not know why the word pope meant anything to Jesus or what it
meant to him... maybe I will remember it at one point...
There is the problem with visionary memory, same as the other memory that
one usually finds at the tip of one's tongue, you know you knew it but you
also know that you don't know it :-)
When Jesus did his thing with Peter: "Do you love me?.... Look after my
sheep" etc. (freely quoted) he had something specific in mind that was more
than establishing a line of prophets for the future.
