Dear Michael and list,
That's what my experiences tell me--though I have not experienced the Void.
It just seems to me that the Void or "no thing" is, in part, the realization
that our individuality is irrelevant. So that hellish experience That El
relates of Nancy Evans Bush in her post of Jan 20th:
<< A voice or awareness informed her: "You never existed, you will
never exist. You're not real. Nothing you ever knew existed. Nor does
anyone you think you ever knew, nor your life, nor where you live. You made
it all up. >>
I think simply means that we are not what/who we "think" we are--the
trappings of our social realities--nor is "existence" what we "think" it is.
El: <<But some -- like Nancy, me, and others I've met who are more
love-and-relationship oriented -- are devastated by the eternal aloneness of
Self/God.>>
But doesn't the oneness of love encompass all of this? Nothing is ever
"lost." We are only alone when we separate our "selves" into individual
units.
El: <<All-One equals alone equals nothing-is-ever-alone equals
All-One equals alone... and round and round and round in a never-ending
cosmic spiral-loop.>>
Michael <<"In the end, we all are...nothing.
(no-thing)" into "In the end, we all are ...one-thing" >>
In other words, no-thing and one-thing are the same--and it may be a matter
of how we react to this "know"-ledge, whether we feel it blissfully or with
horror.
Hillary: <<Yeah :)) I'm not sure, though, whether wavelengths are
incarnate or unincarnate, Semantics aside, that is.
>>
Michael: <<I'm not quite sure I got you here - Are you maybe referring to
the fact that we're all essentially living on individual, mainly "inner"
wavelenghts, this making it diffcult to truly understand each other ? Or
did I just miss something ?>>
No--just a silly/badly worded pun on being on the same wavelengths and waves
of the bliss of oneness.
Love, Hillary
