Namaste All, Just my opinions!
With due respect Kimberly educate yourself on a
subject before jumping in to criticise. I suggest you
visit harshasatsangh or nondualitysalon or even a yoga
site, perhaps even some Vedanta sites, then come to an
understanding what an Avatar is supposed to be. Then
your criticism can be constructive instead of
confrontational.
Also with due respect Angelique we are all descents
but I doubt very much that you are an avatar, in the
full understanding of the concept. A realised being
in union with transcendent as opposed to immanent God
so to speak. Satguru, all else is but a teacher, good
or bad. Unless one is realised one cannot lead others
to that state, K will not do it alone.
I am not anti-homosexual or anything like that.
Whatever turns you on as long as it doesn't involve
violations of others free-will, manipulation, or the
molesting of under age children, this applies to
hetero as well of course.
The problem is not about sexual preference but whether
sexual activity can lead to liberation. Many things
lead to liberation but as long as there is a thought
or desire, it is unattainable.
Most of what is written about on this site is not K
per se but cleansing prana, or pre-K, hence all the
experiences. Liberation has no experience. Enjoying
energy rushes and experiences is desire, desire for
bliss is also a hinderance.
Most activity ,written of here, seems to be in the
lower chakras with occasional rushes to higher ones.
Even raising K to the sahasrara doesn't bring
liberation.
The tantra uses both sexes in a 'normal' situation,
for there is such a division into male and female
energies or positive and negative. The tantricists
used sexual intercourse without ejaculation or
attachment or desire. It was an inversion of the
normal flow of energy outwards. In order to unite the
male and female energies and raise K. WITHOUT
DESIRE!! If desire is involved it is just a good
excuse for sexual desire and satisfaction masquerading
as raising K that's all.
The Immanent God or Devi and her manifestation Sakti,
also have a life span and aren't permanent. They
dissolve with universes at pralaya or dissolution,
which occurs cyclically. Only Transcendent God or
Nirguna Brahman is real.
