To Jon-Carl, as well as to others who have echoed this same refrain,
l refer to the part of my post in which l stated that my comments were
directed not to the acts themselves but the context in which these acts have
been committed by SB. My statement was not intended to criticize homosexual
behavior per se. SB has committed these acts against young men in a
non-consensual manner, and there is no indication judging from the reaction
of the victims that it had anything to do with raising their k. Whether or
not k can in fact be raised or affected in a positive way by private
individuals in a consensual and intentional act of this kind is something of
which l have no knowledge one way or the other, but l have never heard of a
swami doing it with a disciple, and certainly not when the disciple didn't
consent in any way. l didn't answer this post initially because l felt
James' answer was sufficient: the issue here is not homoerotic sex; the issue
is abuse of power by SB....
