I'm not a fan of Sai Baba, but you must look for balance, Tony. Find the
middle path. First he was your God, now he is your demon. Either way you
are making him be "where the buck stops":.. responsible for what Is. Giving
him your power.
What I found interesting about Larsson's story, is the first part: Sai
Baba appearing on the beach in Sri Lanka to save him from suicide. Was that
faked?
Sai Baba made something of a life that Larsson valued so little he
wanted to throw it away. Whatever Sai did, what Larsson is now doing, is
worse.
Looking for the impersonator: I can count the people who might hate me
obsessively enough to do something like that, on the fingers of one hand,
and every single one of them is someone I reached out to, in compassion,
but could not help, because they did not want to grow. Eventually I had to
walk away, with burnt fingers because empathy with them was too painful and
sad. My attention was wanted by others, who would make better use of it.
You should hear the stories they tell.. makes me shake my head. Lies and
inventions, projections and slander. I am the one to blame for all the
problems I could not help them with. I have no will to fight them, they
just make me sad.
Love and anger. Reactions to Shakti can be extremely polarized. The
people who are most jealous of my power, most likely to accuse me of black
magic, are those who are the farthest from understanding that it isn't
"mine". It comes of surrender to Divine Will.
Some people become followers, because it is easier than taking
responsibility for thier own lives. Larsson certainly qualifies. These
people also tend to be "professional victims" who will always blame someone
else, for what they have created. If you tell these people they are gods of
thier own lives they are not grateful to hear it.
I have compassion for Sai Baba, I think he is a prisoner of his own
creation. Back in the 70's he was caught faking manifesting vibuti, and he
apologised. He said that he is human and some days just cannot do the
magic.. and he has the expectations of millions of people projected on
him.. he was afraid to disappoint them, and fear can be very creative
stuff. He promised he wouldn't do it again, but expectations are
multiplied now, aren't they?
It is said, that the cruelest thing you can do to someone, is to not
live up to their expectations. Forgive him, for being human.
