Perhaps you need to invest in some dictation software so you can speak

gets cold you can have a cup of tea.

Any ideas or suggestions as to why, and what to do about, some of my
posts coming through in 'correct form', but some as long strings that
are hard to read, even when they look 'right' when I prepare them to
send, and I post them the same way? I've noticed this happening on other
email lists, too. And a few times, they seem to have come out that way,
in those long strings, into other's emails, but came back to my own in
correct form? Help!

Hullo,
And - hopefully this is still 'on topic' - I just need to check with
people more aware what is the meaning of this dream I had last week?
First of all, I do not believe in vampires, I remember seeing the
*original* Dracula - made in the thirties or forties, decades ago. I
have not seen nor read Bram Stoker's film or book, just as I have also
not read - oh the gal - Anne - something, 'Interview with a Vampire'.
Mostly I do not follow fashions or trends, so my time has not yet come
to pay it any mind.
Knowing this as the background, & also knowing I had not seen any
recent shows or books, which might have influenced my sub-conscious.
Suddenly last week, I had the most clear & intense dream, where I was
involved with a man & he had these large metal spikes in the ground. He
was a king or a nobleman, & I was much afeared of him. He was playing
with impaling nude humans, like a game - they hadn't done anything
wrong, most of them even. But when he would place another human on one
of his spikes, he'd have to fill up the rest to be on the same level. I
was both enraged & terrified by him - the dream was so intense there was
no consciousness of it being a dream. When I finally started to awaken -
His voice was like saying 'beware of Vlad the Impaler'.
Really - truly those words meant nothing to me, & as I would go about
daily working & real time, the words kept coming back to haunt me. Which
is weird because I often forget my dreams lately - I don't write them
down, so why I remembered even is beyond me.
A couple days ago, I finally remembered & entered 'Vlad the Impaler'
into a search engine - & I was totally aghast!!! This was the name of a
Romanian or east european nobleman that inspired 'Dracula'
& really lived about the fifteenth century!
I am really seeking clarity on how this dream would be interpreted
objectively? What could it possibly mean coming out of the clear blue
yonder like that???
sincerely,
valerie

In regard to the tongue moving up to the roof of the mouth, I was
told by my teacher that as the mouth area opens energetically, it will
draw energy up from the throat and your physical mouth may open, and the
tongue may move up to the roof of the mouth to help move energy upwards.
This sounds like the experience you had...

Wow, i'd wonder about that one, too. I've myself had some vivid, really
impact filled dreams, that contained elements I LATER found had basis in
reality, but that I couldn't, or wasn't likely' to have known, even in
my trival memory. For me in those cases, something about what I'd learn
about it WOULD provide me the key to pening the symbolic meaning for me
of that dream. so I'd say, let it keep working in your thoguths, and see
what comes of it. Maybe this 'Vlad' guy has reincarnated in someone you
are coming into contact with or something, and you have a karma thing
with him, and you were being warned. Or maybe something releant to that
guy 'vlad' is relevant to someone else in you life, that you need to be
warned about.

Subject: Re: [K-list] Wim's tongue mudra and Tibetan dream shaktipat ?
Dear Toshi et al.
What actually happens with Kechari Mudra is NOT ONLY that the tongue cleaves
to the palate or roof of the mouth, as you point out (commonly, and
rightfully so, martial arts masters direct their students into that
direction), but also that the soft palate retreats. It physically 'pulls
in' for a short period of time (seconds to hours), thereby making the space
(akasha) above the soft palate accessible to the tongue. The tongue then
tends to want to touch, vibrate or lightly massage the bottom of the boney
support of the brain. The resulting vibration, (which also can be brought
about (although more lightly) by snoring, humming, Tibetan chanting,
singing, the AUM mantra, sounds made during sexual intercourse) leads
towards feelings of:
.Ecstasy :-)
.Orgasmic feelings in the upper part of the body and head :-)
.Exalted rapture :-)
.Fully integrated physical, erotic, volitional, emotional, expressive,
inspirational, conscious human/divine bliss :-)
.Conscious participation in divine reality and divine activities :-)
.Acute consciousness of immortality :-)
.The experience of divine glory :-)
Kechari mudra as described in Hatha Yoga Pradipika is an artificial
(effective, but not recommended by me) way to bring this about by gently and
over time severing the bit if tissue underneath the tongue, in order for the
tongue to reach behind and above the soft palate and to bring about results
that are nearly identical to the experience of amrita and rapture
(experience of immortality and highly ecstatic states) that come with the
natural Kechari Mudra. There is a danger here, as one can easily suffocate,
fall into a state of mortal fear and also, of course, there can be
manipulative tendencies involved that can lead to 'self-absorption' and
'exclusivity'. The natural Kechari Mudra is more, if one can say so,
unconditional, it flows from or goes hand-in-hand with unconditional love.
The forced version is more masturbative. Not that there is anything wrong
with that ! (Seinfeld). When Kechari mudra is brought about naturally, there
are no dangers. So far I know of four people, including myself, who have
experienced Kechari Mudra the natural way. There must be loads of people
who could be ready for this. That is why I write about it.
After the Kechari Mudra experience, which may happen just once or more often
(there is no significance as to the quantity of occurrences), bliss becomes
irreversible as a physical change has taken place in the integrated human
being. At least, that is my experience and the experience of two of my
correspondents and from some literature.
The spine, pelvis and shoulders will curve and move differently, almost
always in a gentle curvy/wavy motion, the muscles seem to be breathing. The
nerves feel very vibrant and 'candy' like. Sexual intercourse may be less
sought after or if one wants to maintain it :-), it will take on an enhanced
functionality leading into the various different levels of Samadhi with...
the partner. These Samadhi states can otherwise be brought about by the
transcendent practices of meditation, yoga and tantric techniques. I suppose
what we have here is a total integrated human/divine love, at once from the
most gross and physical to the most subtle and spiritual realities.
The aura, the subtle energy field that surrounds the human body, is very
much affected as well, as blobs of the aura get parted off and are emanated
into subtle energetic realms of higher dimensional extensions. I myself get
the feeling of the creation of souls or angels. (Well, if that sounds silly,
but just bear... or laugh with me.) In the traditional yoga literature I
believe that the Uddiyana Bandha is a description (though poorly translated
and understood) of this experience. In Tibet there were monasteries
specialising in the creation of souls through these techniques. If you guys
won't ridicule me :-) I can write more about it, but it is a sensitive
issue. Has a lot to do with conception, the embodied soul or 'en-souled
body', the male and female role in the conception of a human being. There
is more to the sperm and the ovum than sees the eye!!! :-)
Another thing that can result from this Kechari Mudra, (but it can be
effected by different dynamics as well) is the flow of amrita (nectar).
There is very little physical separation between the third ventricle in the
brain and the space (akasha) below it. In fact, when there is enough
cerebro-spinal-fluid (CSF) pressure built up in the spinal canal, the
meninges and the other ventricles (by the way, these ventricles are not the
same as the nasal cavities) some of this CSF will eventually drip through an
aperture from the third ventricle into the back of the mouth cavity often
onto a part of the tongue that, when touched, produces a sense of sweetness.
This sweetness as sensed is called soma, amrita, ambrosia, nectar, elixir,
food of the gods etc. Not everybody who experiences the sweetness senses the
nectar drop. Also, on the other hand, some people experience the drop of a
phlegm like substance, but it is often mistakenly diagnosed as post nasal
drip, or just phlegm without cold symptoms. The nectar flow usually results
from a very well functioning spine, when the hips, pelvis, shoulders and
shoulder blades are moving, undulating and rotating unhindered and... a
healthy, very loving life. In my experience and that of three other ppl. I
know (one female), sexual fluids take on a different role in the functioning
of the male and female body.
Love, Wim

Love love love.. love from the Mother underground when I was two made

my devotees in the dream of my future when I was 9 blew my mind.. love and
respect and light like that little girl had never known before, lay in my

3 years later, age 12 Jonathan Livingston Seagull taught me about love
and I had an experience that I remember little of, but I lost some time.. a
few hours disappeared after I finished reading the book under a tree.. and
I wandered around in a mild happy trance afterwards.
Love for my first love at age 18 slowly sent me into spiritual winter for
a few years, a broken heart from another lost love in 1989? made me
desperate and focused enough to set aside my ego and go into the light to

me back to Earth again... but wiser.
Love love love.. what else is there?

Yes, exactly so for this dream!
The dream itself was spooky enough, but finding all that information on
Vlad was spookier still!
If it *is* a past life memory - & who would that be? Would it be someone
has arrived in my life who was he? A warning that he/she is about to
manifest? Could it just be a detached past memory?
I just hate it when things aren't logical!

Hello:
The dream was real because it was real. Your shadow side making itself
known, as Archetype. The Archetype of the shadow is very very powerful. It
is potential within all, but tends to take the sharpest form in those like
you who have had the harshest journey. Your experience makes you ask hard
questions that the shadow is best equipped to explain. Why bad things
happen to good people, why the road to hell is paved with good intentions..
stuff like that.
If you can learn to love him unconditionally, you will ascend. If you
like, you can think of him as a person in your head, and chat with him. He
is often shocking, he will push all of your karmic buttons till they are
gone.
Usually the person who had the dream is the best to interpret it, but
it resonates a bit for me.. especially since the shadow side of my persona
I call "Armand", but he looks very much like Vlad the Impaler crossed with
Captain Morgan from the spiced rum bottle. Vlad the Impaler looks like a
cartoon of Satan, and he was believed to be Lucifer incarnate, by his
terrified subjects. Classic bad-guy look. I first read of Vlad in a book on
the legends of vampires as a teenager. That's probably why Armand looks
like that.. playing his role.
Archetypes have all of the collective consciousness of human history
to draw on, they can show up as anything but they tend to choose a form
that carries a resonant lesson. He chose a form out of history for it's
resonance, and so you would know he is real.
What I'm saying, is that the shadow side of your own psyche drew on your
connection to the collective, and from that sea of history chose a face and
form that best represented the issue at hand: Vlad Dracul the Impaler.
Shadow is shadow but it *can* wear any face. The face it chose, is a
reflection of you.
You are getting in touch with your shadow side, and that is wonderful!
The shadow side has the wisdom of the "ugly mirror". What the polarities
look like. Loving him is part of becoming the Tao, integrating your dark
and light sides.
My initiation as a Shaman woke him, and he taught me to be a Dom in
service to the Light. He is a servant of Kundalini in it's aspect of Sophia
Goddess of Wisdom.
He will teach you to see in the dark.. to understand why "bad things
happen to good people" and how mosquitoes and tornados are also forms of
unconditional love and part of Dvine Will.
So, looking at him as part of you, a reflection in a dark mirror of
who you are, and looking at the "spikes" as metaphors for Kundalini
awakening.. the dream takes on a whole different picture. You are oft known
for saying "why cannot we all be nice to each other".. a good intention,
for sure but the ugly mirror view of wanting everyone to be on the same
*level* of enlightenment is wanting them all to be impaled on the spikes of
Shiva with this energy poking up thier spine. Not everyone finds that to be
a pleasant experience.
Blessings..

I'd like to understand it better, too.. The function is called "word

It may be worth a try.
Alternatively, you could try shielding your PC in a Faraday Cage -
basically, wrap it in tinfoil and chicken wire, preferably earthed. If
it is electromagnetic radiation, the tinfoil will foil radio emissions,
the chicken wire, earthed, will stymie microwaves. As for the monitor,
tinfoil again, around the sides and the back (most radiation comes out
of the back: the screen side is relatively safe especially with a
radiation filter on it and X-rays only penetrate about 3 ft in air
anyway). Leave room for air to circulate around both the PC and the
monitor or they may overheat - which will cause crashes and hard drive
failures, etc.
An expensive option is to get one of those TFT (LCD) flat-screen
monitors, as found on colour notebook computers and some of the newer
desktop PC models, or a projection monitor which shines the image onto
the wall. But first you need to establish the source of the problem or
you might buy the wrong thing.
Tinfoil may do the trick though, earthed or not, and you probably don't
have to completely enclose the PC: just try the sides and top at first.
Radiation will mostly come from the CPU, main board, and video card,
especially if they are fast ones.

The emotion you felt is perhaps a key to understanding this dream: have
you been feeling enraged/terrified in some small way by something going
on in your life?
King/nobleman: an inner teacher of some sort, but perhaps not yet
integrated in your psyche, so perceived as hostile or dangerous? Many
women (much more so than men - and I am assuming you are female in this
interpretation; this paragraph would be different for a male) dream
bloodthirsty dreams, which often happen when they are being harsh with
themselves in some way, or when they are limiting their own creativity
or ambition by saying things like, "Oh silly me, I could never do that!"
The male protagonist, your so-called 'inner male' objects to this self-
deprecating behaviour violently, and rightly so, usually. It is a
conflict between your true Self, and your social conditioning as a 'good
girl.' The character seems to be rather meticulous or obsessional, given
his requirement that all the humans be equally filled. Could this be a
reflection of such behaviour on your part? A neurotic side that perhaps
would benefit from relaxing a bit so your true Self could express itself
more?
For a male, the character would probably be a shadow figure - the
unacceptable face of the self, the disliked side of you, seen in the
world with rage and fear but not seen where it originates - within.
Another side of vampires is that they are in need of nourishment - the
blood of life, love. Are you loving your weaknesses, or
angrily/terrifiedly rejecting them? Acceptance of who you are may help
here.
Spikes plus blood are also very Freudian, so maybe there is a
sexuality/adulthood issue here too.
