It's not vegetarian or meat eating...perhaps it's
omnivore (each of us eat some of the stuff, all of us
together munch all of it).
I will add my tuppence...food is actually truly
predicated on genetic heritage...mainly by blood type,
so O blood types are far more likely to have to eat
meat than ABs, for example. There are some very
interesting books out about this. Also, in the end,
this planet eats all of us, regardless of what we
ourselves ate while alive. On the other hand, if we
think of ourselves as slime molds, then perhaps we
could all get together as a large slime mold. That way
I would no longer be lonely and I could grok better.
And no, I'm not really kidding. I could do with
disappearing into the oneness of all of you...
