change anything. There were many divisions of the
Essenes, some were Egytian, some Parthian, Some of
Indian influence, some Jewish etc etc. Some were
monastic some lived outside and led family lives, like
the Innkeeper where Jesus was born. They were not a
homogeneous group, they had divisions.
