Not to mention the Tibetans, whose diet consists of a lot of animal meat
and fat. Growing season's quite short that high up. In gTummo practices,
meat is actually required, as taught by many Tibetan lamas. The meat
provides fuel for the gTummo fires.
Goddess must have intended this post of yours to go out, and I thank Her
for your "mistake." Amanda's discourse on Hinduism is nice, but as far as
I'm concerned, it only applies to the Hindus. If that's your path, walk
it, but as someone else (was it Jenell?) stated so eloquently, when you
step off your path to judge another's (paraphrasing here), it's a sign
you've strayed.
And Amanda, just a little note of irritation: please, please learn to snip.
Not only didn't you snip the very long note you quoted, you also sent the
whole mess twice. That's 48k of not much useable material--not speaking of
the original posts, mind you, just all that duplication. In all that
compassion this list claims to have for the world--how about a little bit
for the readers, so they don't have to plow through the duplicated
(sometimes over and over) posts? I know, I know, it's something that's
been requested many times, but today I just had to vent, I guess.
