actually, although I accept many provisionally for the sake of being
practical. Really, I veer strongly towards solipsism.

I see skepticism as my logical left-brain trying to make sense of what
is largely a wacky Universe. If I suspend logic, or at least, empiricism
(demanding evidence) then I become an airhead in my own eyes (shock
horror). Plus, evidence is good for ruling out nonsense anyway: I like
"reality" to be consistent. It may not be, but I try and understand it
that way until it *proves* to be otherwise. I see it as a form of Truth.

My dictionary allows skeptic or sceptic, but I prefer the "k" version.
I'm currently educating my spellchecker accordingly.
