The real guru makes him/herself dispensable, one devotee at a time, just
like a surgeon, a priest/ess, a teacher. We have no way of knowing how the
guru does that, neither does the guru. Gurus are redundant beings, nothing
to lose, to gain. 'Redundant Being' isn't that a sign of unconditionality. A
devotee can not be a devotee forever. A dependent child will be a free
human.
