Aren't people confusing the physical and subtle bodies when discussing
such things? Could it not just as well be the "essence" or "energy which
manifests
the semen" whose direction of flow is reversed in the etheric body ? SInce we
normally perceive through our standard senses we could easily mistake for
 bodily sensations those which are in fact etheric in nature .
just a thought.
