No it doesn't. I said at least twice that there must be some phenomenon
going on. (Two such instances are quoted by you below.)

All I question is the explanation, *not* the experience. Read my
messages again if you don't believe me.

I agree that the scientific method leads to descriptions. I just think
that we have to start from the most accurate description we have and
then see what we can make of the various phenomena that call for a
change in our descriptions. It won't help explain the phenomena if we
use a description which is demonstrably inaccurate in the first place.
Better to consider the inaccurate description as a metaphor rather than
a fact of biology.
