  Peace, Jenell.. the carrot that leads them is not the destination they
will arrive at. If thier focus is on "service to other", what they put out
will come back multiplied, and they will grow from it. Goddess has it
handled. If it is not, then they will learn from burnt fingers and grow
anyways.. They are intrigued by the Mystery, and they are knocking at the
door. Sooner or later they will get bored with the toys of ego and seek
something more substantial, but they have to choose it for themselves.
  Let them "follow thier bliss" and you follow yours, and it will all work
out OK. Thier curiosity has them hooked, and Goddess will reel them in at
Her own pace.
  This is happening with you too. They are coming to you, because helping
them with their stuff is your current tour of duty.. by helping people you
will grow.
  Your story of the black critters eating the trees is a classic carrot.
You want to get rid of the tent caterpillars, and conventional means won't
work. What will work, is to clear the spirit/deva of the caterpillars,
which is conveniently showing up in the yard of a woman who needs your
guidance on some other matters... so help her, and if you want some tips on
kicking entity butt, I can provide them.
