Many communal configurations falter...
I used to know a lot about Findhorn,

>But two of the founders have children...etc.
Celibacy is is not a requirement in what I envision,
Auroville (Pondichery, India) comes to mind, there is an experiment that is
stabilizing.
My son just spend half a year there and was very amazed.
It is a very grounded community, no BS, functionality is the key.

A monastery is not a commune or community though, a monastic environment is
communion. In such (w)holy environment, divinity, humanity and physicality
are unseperable as the human is divine as the environment is divine.

Love, Wim
