What is hydergine and piracetam ?

Yes, the standard view is that learning does strengthen
the connections b/n some neurons (in the learning
areas of the brain) and this may entail
an increase in dendritic connections as well.
Maybe not new dendrites but an increased branching
and contact points on already existing dendrites.
BTW, "dendrites" is derived from the latin
for "small branches".

Yes, the combination of reading music
(mainly left brain activity) and playing the music
trying to express the emotions in them
(mainly right brain activity) and
putting it all together with the physical movement
of the fingers / arms necessary to play the instrument
is highly integrative activity. :))
And one signifying "intelligence". ;))

Amanda.
