It depends, on how the connection is handled.. Shining Shakti onto
someone, brings Karma that is to be released into focus, like holding a
candle behind an egg. If the flow is one-way, the recipient will get all
the symptoms as they process the stuff that the energy is pushing out.
Thus, bombing someone with Shakti can feel like the worst chinese curse
"May you clear all of your Karma next week and become enlightened"..
If the flow goes both ways, the Guru is absorbing the Karma as it is
revealed, and processing it thru thier own, clearer system instead of
making the seeker thrash it out, themselves. Thus, the seeker will feel a
smooth increase of spiritual awareness, and few symptoms, especially if
they have a lot of faith in the Guru.

Precisely.. nobody owns Shakti, so the connection between Guru and
recipient depends on Her will for them. Some will fall in love with the
Guru, others will accept the gift and go on thier way. The "falling in
love" comes from the will of the seeker's higher self, is functional.. it
motivates, gives faith and enhances receptivity.. makes the seeker pay
attention. When the lessons are done, the obsession fades, but respect
lingers, as it should. Shakti is going to kick out anything that is not
aligned with Divine Will, so no worries.
