If it's in the catalogue,
that would definitely be a step forward. :)

One MD from Denmark wrote and got published an
article about Kundalini awakening
in patients in the
Danish Journal of Medical Practitioners.

The article can be found in the MedLine medical /
scientific database on the net.
Unfortunately, they only quote abstracts and not
articles in their entirety.

However,
just the fact that this MD was able to identify the
phenomenon as one single phenomenon
(he must have read some books and scriptures, I
believe),
was able to do some research on it and got it
published in a forum for other doctors must
be interpreted as positive. :)

The MD admits that much of what he has found in his
subjects may not be mental illness as usually defined,
but results of a process.

He also ends his article saying that:
"The end of the Kundalini process seems to bring about
an extraordinary flexibility and mental strength."
:D

Ville has another article published by a Swedish MD,
but which takes a rather negative view of
"Spiritual Crises" and meditation.

Believe me, there definitely are.

However, a highly sceptical environment might
be conducive to Kundalini in some ways, because
it allows the energy to work uninterrupted and
behind the scenes, without the subject worrying too
much and getting hung up in the process. ;)

Just letting it flow...

Best regards,

Amanda.
