Namaste All,
It is strange how things happen isn't it? I kind of
drifted into the recent posts, for whatever reason.
However if I hadn't, it would not have been in my mind
to answer an important question on another list, about
Amma Vasantha Sai, a Realised Soul in India.
With regard to Chakras etc, another book is,
" The Theories of the Chakras", "Bridge to Higher
Consciousness"
Hiroshi Motoyama, Quest publishing, Theosophical
Publishing House. Wheaton, Illinois.1981--1988.
It includes a chapter by Swami Satyananda Saraswati,
Bihar school of yoga, and the Shat-Chakra-Nirupana,
and Gorakshashatakam.
Its modern scientific experiments and comparisons with
Chinese systems is interesting. It also refers back to
Leadbeater and Arthur Avalon.
It seems to be a good beginners guide and all in one
reference, I had forgot I had it until today! Lots of
synchronicity here!
Love and Sai Ram, Tony.
For those in Vancouver, it is in the Banyen Bookshop,
which is online also.
