Ooooh, I can just eat this vodoun stuff.
So interesting, like a poor man's tantra. ;)
Being kept alive by poverty and suppression through
many years.
Santeria seems to be a real living and breathing
community in the poor areas of Rio and other
places in Brazil. :)

And the "marriage" between these African
traditions of power and the European
tradition of Catholicism.
How's that synthesis. :)
