Okay, Joel, I think you missed the point I was asking about. Not that I
myself feel 'connected' during meditation, but in that state, I am able
to convey to OTHERS, mostly by touch, but also sometimes them just being
in close proximity to me, something of a deep spiritual/energy
'experience', which has effect on THEM. Even those that are unable to
attain to such a state through their own meidtations at that point, or
people that don't even meditate at all. And I don't ean something they
think by 'suggestion' of an idea, for often, Ive said nothing to them of
it before I touch them, and it can range from a deep euphoric state that
lasts a few minutes, to something that plain knocks them to the floor
where they lie there, unable to move, in such a euphric, blissful state
for a few minutes. The classic Pentacostal 'slain in the spirit' thing.
And the feel, afterward, as if they have had a 'burden lifted',
something at issue within them resolved, negative emotions released.
Now, second part. I have read of this called 'shaktipat'. Is this what
this is?
Third part. In what I read, it indicated that ONLY one that has attained
themself to the state of 'guru' has this ability.
