Kundalinii is not really an energy per se, it is an ideative condition, a
psycho-spiritual ideation that arouses divine feelings.
Where people get confused is that they associate Kundalinii with energies
at various chakras. This is not correct. They are experiencing symptoms
not kundalini awakening that gives rise to divine feelings and surrender
to the Supreme.
One account describes Jidu Krishnamurti as feeling incredible pains in the
head which was believed to be the action of kundalini. Of course, whether
this was or was not the cause is open to debate. But a symptom it appears
to be, rather than the goal of what needs to be obtained.
For those of us who've stretched our world a bit, it's easily understood .
But just because it sounds eastern does not make if vedic nor hindu etc.
Tantric
ideas and practices are older and more scientific. Most of the vedas are
so full of useless ritualistic dogmas, no different to praying as in
christianity. Note though that tantra did take some good aspects of the
vedas. We want Eastern wisdom, thinking we lack it.
Life is but a parallelism of collective entitative physical waves with
the
psychic waves of a unit mind. Here life may be that of any microcosmic
entity - an atom or an advanced human individual. But the Universal Mind
is not a removed and indifferent aspect to life.
The East wants Western materialism, because there needs to be harmony is
life and the internal world of knowing.
The ethical outlook seems often lacking in importance in a lot of brand
name
meditation practices we hear about. The ethics is the harmony required.
