If one thinks that races are fundamentally different (also in the way they
experience the spiritual dimension), that would explain why certain races
might feel attraction to their "own" religion (after all, the religion was
founded by racially similar people). However, all kinds of "ethnic"
religions don't seem to be spiritual at all, but instead cling to various
childish fantasies and tend to be more important in helping with everyday
ego consciousness than with the feeling of ultimate reality. Additionally,
most of Europe is christian (and obviously some of them are "sincerely"
christian) even though there are not too many jews around.

We inherit our genes, and that pretty much defines who we are (including
what we might see as spiritual guides). I tend to think that spirituality
resides in a more "animal" side of us, our subconscious, and thus is
common to all races (ie. present in the common gene pool of all
mankind)... even though different races may have different temperaments.
